On the last leg of our Buffalo fast food tour, we went to Mighty Taco. More prevalent in Buffalo than Taco Bell, Mighty Taco is a late-night diner’s dream.
The tacos are cheap (about $1.25 each), the sour cream gets squirted on your taco with a gun, and the service was speedy. What more could you ask for? Weird tv commercials? I guess dreams really do come true!
I went with the Mighty Taco, which had “Mighty beef,” cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes in a soft flour tortilla. I almost don’t want to know what makes the beef mighty but whatever it is it gives the meat a unique tang that surpassed my expectations.
While this was far from a gourmet taco, it totally gets the job done. Especially if that job is to soak up regret or vodka.
