My ears perked up at the mention of a chicken tender sub. Chicken tenders? A sub FULL of chicken tenders? My heart began to race when I then heard mention of a “Stinger.” A “Stinger,” folks, is a chicken tender AND steak sub. EEEEE. Attention Pittsburgh….we SO need this: Your mind is blown, I know. After we scarfed down plates full of wings and Beef on Weck sandwiches at Cole’s, we decided to get dessert. And we were told by our Buffalonian friends that Zillycakes was the place to go. And, of course, the locals were right. Zillycakes has a fresh cupcake bar. Pick your cake, pick your icing, finish with fun toppings, and you have a made-to-order cupcake of your very own. On the last leg of our Buffalo fast food tour, we went to Mighty Taco. More prevalent in Buffalo than Taco Bell, Mighty Taco is a late-night diner’s dream. The tacos are cheap (about $1.25 each), the sour cream gets squirted on your taco with a gun, and the service was speedy. What more could you ask for? Weird tv commercials?
