The chef, writer, traveler and all-around badass, Anthony Bourdain, is coming to Heinz Hall on Monday, June 14.
If you’re one of the few who haven’t heard of Bourdain, he is the host of the Emmy-nominated Travel Channel show- “No Reservations.” He is the executive chef at New York’s famed bistro Les Halles and author of the bestselling book Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly, a candid, hysterical and sometimes shocking portrait of his life in restaurant kitchens. His book, A Cook’s Tour, published in conjunction with his series on the Food Network, was also a bestseller in the U.S. and the U.K. Other books include Anthony Bourdain’s Les Halles Cookbook, The Nasty Bits and No Reservations: Around the World on an Empty Stomach, an illustrated journal of Bourdain’s travels.
I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to see Bourdain. I just ordered my ticket along with the other eatPGH girls. Ticket information can be found here. Additional information about the live show can be found here.
So Bourdain is coming. Dreamy. If I had the opportunity to dine with Bourdain, I think I would take him to Dish in the South Side or Seviche Downtown.
Where would you take him?
