Smiley Cookies!
Honestly, who doesn’t love a good Smiley Cookie?
From our friends at Eat’n Park, SmileyCookie.com is an online retailer specializing in all things Smiley Cookie. And the best part, you can customize your Smiley Cookies with regards to shape, icing color, and smile color. Just customize your cookies online and they will be shipped to you the next day, to ensure freshness.
Think: Black and Gold Smiley Cookies for Steelers Tailgate Parties…. Blue and White Smiley Cookies for your college kids at Penn State… Halloween Smiley Cookies for a school party… Smiley Cookies with your wedding colors… Smiley Cookies with your school team colors… and the list goes on, and on, and on.
I had the chance to try out some customizable Smiley Cookies thanks to SmileyCookie.com. Here is what happened after I placed my order:
A box arrived to my doorstep:
Inside this big box, boxes upon boxes of Smiley Cookies:
Inside each box, a dozen customized Smiley Cookies:
Each dozen of Smiley Cookies comes packaged in a clear plastic container that separate each cookie from touching one another and the plastic container is then shrink wrapped in plastic to lock in freshness. Note: Grab a pair of scissors to cut through the plastic wrap. I tried tearing it with my hands and it proved to be a bit tougher than I thought.
After busting through the plastic wrap and opening the container, my nose was immediately welcomed with the smell of fresh Smiley Cookie goodness. Ahhhh. And the smell alone, will have you diving in and eating at least one cookie… if not 3.
For this customized order, I picked out three color combos: Yellow and Black (obviously), Navy Blue and White, and Royal Blue and Green:
Yes, that cookie on the bottom left is navy blue. Doesn’t it look purple? When the cookies initially arrived, this cookie looked purple to me. But, upon further inspection, the color is actually navy blue. Hard to tell at first, but it is. And, I am assured by the folks at SmileyCookie.com, it is the perfect navy blue to match Penn State colors.
One other issue I had with the cookies was messiness.
Maybe it was just my batch of cookies, but the icing was definitely a little on the messy side. (See above). And, a few came broken. But that is expected when you mail cookies. By far, the best looking Smiley Cookies of the bunch were the Yellow and Black ones.
Despite a few broken and messy-looking cookies, these Smiley Cookies smelled amazing and tasted just as fresh as picking up a dozen at a local Eat’n Park.
If you are looking to send a gift to really put a smile on someone special’s face, think SmileyCookies.com. I have a few out-of-towners in mind who may be receiving Yellow and Black Smiley Cookies soon!
Note: SmileyCookie.com provided eatPGH with three dozen, customized cookies in exchange of this post. These opinions are my own.

Definitely a cute idea – I might stick with the Prantl’s deliverable torte.
