Chili, Chili, Chili and Chili
Sarah and I ventured into the rainy outdoors for the 6th annual Chili cook-off in the Southside Works last Saturday. We each got four tickets so we could get a serious sampling of spice. Ah, the best laid plans… of course we both wanted to try Savoy’s chili because it came with cornbread and a poblano aoili. I was a big fan of the Mexican spin that Cain’s put on their chili. Lots of toppings and tortilla chips for dunking! Cactus Sting and Sunny Jim’s were also in the running for our choices of best chili. Who went? Who did you think deserved to walk away with the title “Best Chili in the Burgh”?
