Square Cafe
If you are looking for a neighborhood brunch spot with a vibrant vibe and friendly staff, Square Cafe in Regent Square is the place. The only downside is that the place is small and it can be beyond packed when you want to eat. So, just be patient.
Now, the food. The food is a tad overpriced by a few dollars, but is good. This past weekend I had the Omelet Ranchero: three eggs stuffed with ham and Amish cheddar cheese topped with locally-made salsa. Served with potatoes and your choice of toast on the side. Yum. This was a great dish. I would definitely get it again, though I have a suggestion: serve the salsa at room temperature. The salsa on my omelet was cold, which made the eggs cold. And cold eggs are just not that great. That’s it, just a simple suggestion.
I will definitely be back to Square Cafe. There are so many items on the menu I need to eat.

I agree with everything you said about Square. We first went last winter and loved it and have been back about a half dozen times but are becoming a bit distant with it. The food is great, but a breakfast can really add up quickly there. It was really nice to eat out on the sidewalk during warmer months. It just about doubles the capacity too which greatly helps. A great locally owned, run, and cared for place though.
