We review restaurants and keep things local, because Pittsburgh is full of innovative tastes and flavors! Sometimes, recipes or a food event we’ve attended will pop up, but we mostly dish about our dine outs. Why make food, when you can make a reservation?

Kiva Han DOES always make days better. As a matter o' fact- it makes every experience better-- a language exchange meetup, a business opportunity meetup, a homework experience, a reading experience, a people-watching experience, a chat-with-your-hip-barista experience... the list goes on. Despite its slightly patched together appearance, Kiva Han was my favorite place to hang out, and the only place I could do any work. Unfortunately it'll be closing Feb. 19. They haven't said whether or not they're opening elsewhere. Curse high rents and "block plans" that include a bagel shop over a coffee shop that's more of an experience than a place to fuel up.
