As a matter o’ fact- it makes every experience better– a language exchange meetup, a business opportunity meetup, a homework experience, a reading experience, a people-watching experience, a chat-with-your-hip-barista experience… the list goes on. Despite its slightly patched together appearance, Kiva Han was my favorite place to hang out, and the only place I could do any work. Unfortunately it’ll be closing Feb. 19. They haven’t said whether or not they’re opening elsewhere. Curse high rents and “block plans” that include a bagel shop over a coffee shop that’s more of an experience than a place to fuel up.
