I want to go to Salt of the Earth not just because it won best restaurant but Chef Sousa has been a creative culinary mind in Pittsburgh for some time and I want to see where his career has led him. Plus, he supports local which I think if I want to eat food I am supposed to say I support that now right? Isn’t that an obligation these days?
I’m dying to try Nine on Nine … I hear they have great lobster mac and cheese!
I want to try Bona Terra because I love farm-to-table restaurants and the menus look to be gluten-free friendly or accomodating. Also, I love BYOB restaurants.
I want to go to Salt of the Earth! I follow Kevin’s posts on twitter and I love hearing about all of the local food he uses and how much he appreciates his fans!
I want to try Spoon. I want to see what they have to offer for the seasonally inspired dishes and who can resist chocolate ganache cake?
I have been wanting to try Bona Terra for years! I hear the food is fantastic.
Wow, I want to try Bona Terra. I don’t know why this is the first time I have heard of it but it sounds delish! The crab cake description made me very hungry!
I would love to try Piccolo Forno. I’m a pizza addict. I want to see if their pizza tastes like authentic Italian and the menu sounds awesome.
I want to try Salt of the Earth. Everyone who’s gone there raves about it. I never get to go to with my husband alone so attending the party would be an awesome treat.
I want to go to Notions. Do they got wings?
I always wanted to try Kaya. It seems like a down to earth place a common pittsburgher would like to eat without all the mumbo jumbo flare of a truly upscale yuppie restaurant
I haven’t tried Salt of the Earth yet, and I’d love to. I’ve heard good things and everything sounds unique and delicious!
I have been trying to get to Spoon for months! It is right around the corner from where I live. Ridiculous that I have not made it yet.
I’d love to try Nine on Nine- I’m a sucker for Wild Mushroom Risotto!
I would love to try Salt and Spoon. I have heard nothing but good things about both!
Tamari – friends have raved about everything from their happy hour specials to the patio and cocktails, and I’ve been dying to taste everything for myself.
Wow, tough choice but I think I really want to try Stagioni next. It sounds like the most delicious option out of the few I haven’t tried yet. Home-made pasta, sausage and pickles served with the best locally raised meat and freshest local produce?! I’m so there.
I want to try Salt of the Earth. I have only heard good things about it. Also I dated a Sousa many years ago. He worked in a restaurant, I wonder if he was related.
I would love to try Kaya, my husband likes fish tacos and I love Cuban sandwiches…
I’d try Dinette, because the pizza at the top of page two looks like a pizza from heaven.
Avenue B! “Pretzel-Roll Sandwiches & Peanut-Butter Chocolate Crunch Bars with Marshmallow Ice Cream…” Nuff said.
I want to try Spoon and Salt of the Earth!
I’ve been attempting to try Spoon for months but every time I’m about to go, plans fall through for some reason. Please allow me to experience the gloriousness of Spoon
Thanks!
I want to try Spoon and Nine on Nine
I’d love to try notion. Seriously, that beef tartare looks to die for! And the beet salad with candied grapefruit, beet chips and crispy yogurt sounds amazing.
I still haven’t been to Dinette, have heard nothing but good things…
I’ve been wanting to try Salt of the Earth since it opened and just haven’t gotten there yet. All of Sousa’s awards, as well as the intriguing and *relatively* inexpensive menu (for what you’re getting), just make it even more alluring.
Kaya! I love Big Burrito restaurants!
Ooh, given a limitless budget and all the time in the world to savor the experience, I’d take a table at Salt of the Earth, without a doubt. There’s certainly something behind all of the raves, and I want to find out for myself!
Would love to try Salt of the Earth! I’ve only heard amazing things about it!
I have heard such good things about Kaya and actually was a hair away from going with a group a month ago – but couldn’t. Curses! Definitely on my to-eat list.
Dinette! I’m dying to find some great pizza in the burgh.
I want to go to all of them which is why I need to win these tickets! Sitsously its so hard to choose! Piccolo forno is at the top of my list right now though.
I would like to try Legume because it sounds delicious and very healthy!
I’d like to try Tessaro’s because I’ve always heard that they have the best burgers in town and I sure do love a good burger. Just haven’t been there yet. It’s my time.
Salt of the Earth. I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin years ago and have followed his career since. Plus, he is committed to Pgh. and the local food scene.
Still haven’t made it to Nine on Nine – that’s my pick since it’s my foodiest friend’s favorite.
I would love to try Eleven’s cuisine. I have heard fabulous reviews about the restaurant– it seems to be the full package: modern and trendy yet still approachable to diners.
Just moved back to Pgh so I have a LONG list of places to try, but if I had to pick one, Salt of the Earth looks like everything I want to love in a restaurant!
I hate that I haven’t been to Salt of the Earth yet! This is clearly the trailblazer in Pittsburgh and the meals sound like very creative dishes that you will not find an equal for in Pittsburgh… yet!
I would love to try Tamari – I love Asian food, and small plates are a great way to try lots of different items.
I have wanted to try Piccolo Forno for a long time I am just impatient and can’t wait. I have heard great things about that place. It just seems so simple, pizza, but the wood burning oven makes all the difference from everyday pizza and great pizza. That would be the place I want to try the most on the list.
I’d love to try Salt of the Earth because it seems like a pretty cool place – plus the scallops with spicy kim chi sounds fantastic!
I have been to Salt (would love to go back) and a few others on the list – but I have been dying to try Legume – can’t wait to see what influence the new space has on their menu and offerings!
I’d like to go to Tessaro’s. I love a good burger and I’ve heard people rave about that place, I’ve just never been.
I would LOVE to try Nine on Nine! I heard a lot of celebs go there when they come to Pittsburgh… and that Lobster Mac and Cheese sounds DELISH!
Without a doubt, Wild Rosemary. I’ve tried almost all the others, but Wile Rosemary is a bit far to travel and I would love the chance to have a taste at the party!
