Harris Grill
I was invited to a birthday party at Harris’ Grill this weekend. I am so rarely in Shadyside and I have never been to this restaurant either, but I was very happy with the food, atmosphere and service. I loved the hand painted murals and the decor on the walls.
The birthday hosts took the liberty of ordering the appetizers – spinach and artichoke dip and hummus – and boy were they delicious. I am not a huge fan of hummus, but Harris’ Grill’s hummus made me a fan. Hands down the best hummus I ever tried.
I also tried the Garden Weasel sandwich. It consists of grilled portabella mushrooms and zucchini, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella and a basil pesto mayo on a fresh baked bread. I highly recommend it, regardless of if you are a vegetarian or not.
