Razzy Fresh, Squirrel Hill
If you haven’t heard of this gem on Murray Ave. yet (although the lines out the door seem to suggest that you probably HAVE heard of Razzy Fresh), listen up: the simplicity of the do-it-yourself frozen treat concept is dynamite. You get a cup, fill up said cup with one of 6 different yogurt flavors (or all 6), and then choose your topping(s) from about 3 dozen varieties. And let me tell you, there is something so rewarding about the act of heaping on as much and as many toppings to your chosen frozen confection. Pictured above is one of my friend’s creations: the original tart yogurt, red velvet yogurt, oreo crumbles, m&ms, strawberries, kiwi and raspberries.
Razzy Fresh yogurt is the “live and active cultures” kind of yogurt. I am always a tad afraid of desserts labeled “tart,” but I have to be honest, the Razzy Fresh tart yogurt is good stuff. It is not overly yogurt-y. It pairs well with the dozen or so fruit toppings available. Razzy Fresh also offers other non-traditional frozen yogurt flavors which change daily. I can comment on the goodness that is the Red Velvet yogurt and the Triple Chocolate yogurt.

That looks and sounds so good!
May I humbly offer up this suggestion, per Joey Tribbiani and Phoebe Buffay's closet — Thanksgiving pants.
