Southside Steaks
I once drove across Pennsylvania on a whim to get a cheesesteak. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Now I hate Philadelphia like the rest of you Pittsburgh, (I’m just kidding, I love Philly!) but that was the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had.
The closest copy cat I’ve found here is at Southside Steaks in drum roll………. The Southside. The only way to get it is with Cheese Whiz. Don’t shout “fake cheese” at me. That is how it is properly done. You can thank me later. The steak is delicate and flavored with the sweet goodness of a grill that has cooked thousands of tasty treats.
They have a dozen or so steaks and about ten specialty steak options but go traditional the first time. It will be a fond memory you tell your grandchildren about.
Don’t forget to get a side of the fresh cut fries while you’re there. They’re a perfect accent to a pretty Philly-perfect cheesesteak.

You have to try a Real McCoy sandwich or a steak at the The Real McCoy which is just a couple of doors down the street on E.Carson. Been eating those since the 60's.
Never heard of it. We'll def have to check it out though.
