Voluto Coffee

Supporting local digs is a top priority for me. That is why when I drove by Voluto Coffee in Friendship yesterday I had to stop. Voluto Coffee is all about “drinking local,” a play on the current “eat local” trend. And who can’t get behind a concept like that?

It is located in the bottom section of the Glass Lofts meaning it is cool inside and out. With its clean industrial feel you earn ten cool points just going in. I mean 8 out of the 10 people there had either a MacBook or MackBook Pro which if you didn’t know is cool. Space is limited though so get there early!

While I’m not much of a coffee drinker, I did enjoy a deliciously spiced Organic Chai Tea in a perfectly sized blue mug. Perfect mug sizes are really appealing to me. Basically it makes me like you about 27 times more. If you were a coffee drinker though I suggest going because 1. they know coffee and 2. they know coffee.

After finishing my Chai I had a grilled peanut butter/banana sandwich on brioche. Even though I don’t have anything to compare that sandwich too I wanted to jump into a pool of them. It was perfectly grilled, had equal parts of peanut butter and banana, and the light dusting of powder sugar made for the perfect combination of sin.
